Feast of the Seven Deadly Sins: An Investiture on a Pilgrimage for Virtue

The Barony of Delftwood invites all to join in a pilgrimage for virtue at the Feast of the Seven Deadly Sins. Your resolve will be tested as you are tempted by Lust, Gluttony, Wrath, Sloth, Envy, Greed, and Pride in the Den of Iniquity. You can seek absolution for your sins at one of the many shrines and leave with a clean conscience.

The Pilgrimage will take place on February 13, 2010 from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Journey to the NEW handicap accessible site at the Oswego Armory (249 West First Street, Oswego, NY 13126 - Click For Map) where there is ample parking, and convenient hotels.

In the twelve hours, you can indulge in a gluttonous array of activities! Celebrate the investiture of Edward Harbinger and Anastasie de Lamoure as Delftwood’s 9th Baronage, and the well-deserved retirement of Baron Artemius Andreas Magnus and Baroness Clarice Roan. Test your mettle in a fine series of rapier tournaments, including the contest that determines the Baronial Rapier Champion. Raise your voice in the bardic competitions, including the feat that determines the Baronial Bardic Champion. Tempt yourself in the Den of Iniquity! Pay homage to Their Majesties’ Pilgrimage of Knowledge as you learn about the Order of the White Scarf.

A jewel in the crown of the day will be a Youth Combat Deed Arms, sponsored by Bran mac Dímmáin and Vilhjálmr Eðvarðarson in honor of their parents’ Investiture, held under the gracious tutelage of Earl Yngvar the Dismal and Countess Caryl Olesdattir.
